Main and Bridge Streets are open

Traffic flow has been restored to Margaretville’s Main and Bridge Streets (NYS Route 30), which have been closed since the flood of August 28. The streets were opened to through traffic Friday. Drivers are urged to use caution however, as building reconstruction activity in the area has resulted in some congestion.

Running for relief

Delaware County Public Works Superintendent Wayne Reynolds reports that New Century Construction LLC has been awarded the job of rebuilding the bridge on Dry Brook Road known as the Arthur White bridge.
