Main and Bridge Streets are open

Traffic flow has been restored to Margaretville’s Main and Bridge Streets (NYS Route 30), which have been closed since the flood of August 28. The streets were opened to through traffic Friday. Drivers are urged to use caution however, as building reconstruction activity in the area has resulted in some congestion.

Congressman Chris Gibson will be at the Middletown Town Hall on Route 28, between Margaretville and Arkville, Monday, November 7 from approximately Noon to 1 pm to answer any flood related questions you may have or provide some assistance if needed.
